Hello friends, all we are very good at internet usage in our mobile phones that are with android OS. Some times we can share the internet from our android mobile phone to other phones by creating the Wi-Fi hotspot or by using USB tethering and some can be through the Bluetooth tethering. There is no problem with Wi-Fi tethering if the another device has the compatible Wi-Fi drivers. There is no problem with the USB tethering too, to share the internet with your PC with windows7 or windows8 but not with the XP.
You can not tether your android phone with your PC with Windows-XP as OS. The problem is with your android phone device drivers. So, here is the solution to USBTether your SAMSUNG (Android) phone with windows XP-PC.
- Download the SAMSUNG DEVICE DRIVERS here
- It can be used in Windows XP/vista/Windows7/Wndows8
- Install it on your XP pc and follow the instructions.
- It will warns you like the software you are running is unauthorized, But no problem with that. Just allow the software to install.
- Now restart the PC
- Now connect your SAMSUNG android phone with USB cable.
- Now your system can detects the SAMSUNG mobile.
- In your mobile go to Settings-->Tethering and portable hotspot-->USB tethering.
Note: These drivers are for SAMSUNG mobiles only. You can use the same drivers for vista/Windows7/Wndows8 too. Before sharing your internet on XP just verify that the Windows automatic updates are disabled otherwise you will be exhausted your internet data for unnecessary windows updates.
