If you delete important files permanently by mistake (any type of file from any type of media), what will you do...

Deleting a file in PC do not completely erase the data, but it only erase the file entry in the file allocation table. So the data remains in that location until a new data over write that location in the disk.

So there is a chance to recover permanently deleted files.

Here is a simple solution:

RESTORATION

Restoration a free file recovery software. it is an application, so you don't have to install it. It works well.

It Restore files which are deleted from the Recycle Bin or deleted while holding down the Shift key by mistake. You don't have to install it, so it doesn't leave any garbage in the PC. (You also can run it from a floppy disk.Restoration is licensed as Freeware for Windows (32-bit and 64-bit) operating system / platform only from file recovery software without restrictions.

The software is fully compatible with most file systems including FAT12/FAT16/FAT32/NTFS. However, encrypted NTFS files are not supported by the data recovery tool.

Instructions:

1. Download the Restoration application here
2. Unzip the file
3. Run it as administrator
4. In the name field type the full or part of the file name you want to recover, or leave it empty
5. Select the drive (C/D/E...) where the deleted file was stored
6. Press "search deleted file" button
7. From the list of recovered files, select your file
8. Then press "Restore by copying" button
9. In the pop-up window select the location to restore the file(not the same deleted location), then press    "save"

That's it your file is restored as original as it is.

Note:

1. Do not work (saving other files, etc.) on the drive form where your file was deleted / from where your file is to be restored
2. Use Restoration as early as possible to increase the success rate of recovering permanently deleted files.
3. Restore the file in the drive other than the drive from where your file was deleted. if you restore the file in same drive it might rewrite the original file.
4. Reduce browsing, it might over wright the temp data on that location.
